Hi, New Here but not new to SketchUp. Had full sub about 4 years ago but changed jobs. Now I’m just using as personal use. I’m trying to design an Air Intake Offset for a Mercrusier 1350 HP boat motor. The part will be 3D printed first.
It’s 5-1/16" inside diameter tube 5" long with a 2-1/2" offset.
I’m having trouble coming up with a working model with that kind of offset in that short of distance.
I will try to post what I have so far. It’s pretty rough and 3D printer doesn’t like it. haha. I can’t seem to get it smooth.
I would appreciate some help if possible
Thank you in advance

Holy cow you are fast. Are those extensions ?
I knew there had to be a way I just didn’t know what. I’m use to designing homes with SU not these tiny objects. haha
Did you save that file?
Yes both are extensions by Fredo6.
Your profile is confusing, you say Free web but then 2024 desktop. The web version doesn’t use extensions. So it is difficult to know how to answer your question. Please fix your profile to accurately tells us what you are using.
Well, I hadn’t closed it so yes I saved it, not something I normally do. I prefer to teach a man to fish rather than give him a fish.
But fish attached. slinkyBox.skp (1005.5 KB)
Yes, I have both but I haven’t found where to edit profile yet. Web was too limited so I went with a one month sub.
But thank you for the file. I really appreciate it.
I agree I like to learn myself from examples.
