My layout crashes when exporting to PDF

I have tried unclicking “output over ride” I also tried a single model view of a relatively small rendering. I don’t know if this is a setting problem or an issue with the software. It was working fine yesterday until about noon. Just started having this issue all of a sudden. I have clients waiting on blueprints. Any Ideas?

Hard to say what’s happening. Is it truly crashing or just slow to export? Shareing the LayOut file would make it easier for us to help you.

So what changed? It wasn’t SketchUp or LayOut. Something you imported into the SketchUp model? Something you inserted into LayOut?

Thank you for responding David. This happens with all files, even files that I have previously exported with no issue. I’m not sure if it is technically “crashing”. The software becomes not responsive for about 20 minutes and then closes with a “bug splat”. Is there a way to share files that are larger than 16 MB. My smallest set of blueprints is 20 MB.

Upload the file to Dropbox and share the link.

Clearly something has changed on your computer. Did you update anything?

Testing on another machine will help to identify whether it’s specific to your computer or not.

okay I sent the files to my laptop and they exported just fine. Any Idea what might have changed on my desktop?

Possibly a graphics driver update included with a Windows update? You might go to the website of the manufacturer of the GPU and get their latest drivers to install. The drivers included in OS updates usually aren’t the same as what the manufacturer publishes.

Maybe a simple power off reboot would take care of it.
