HI guys, I 'm using skectchup 2024 on mac. I was almost finishing a drawing when the zoom started to play by itself and the drawing disappeared. I tried to roll the zoom backwards but nothing appears. What could I do?

You would have either a Pro or Studio subscription, not a Classic license. Please correct your profile.
That’s definitely unfortunate. I asked you to share the .skp file so we can try to help you fix it. I haven’t seen it yet. There might be some fix for it but we’re running out of time.

If it’s 16 Mb or less drag the .skp file into a reply. If it’s larger than that, upload it to DropBox or similar and share the link.
It still shows a Classic license which isn’t available for SketchUp 2026. You put the operating system in as the graphics card. After you make the corrections you have to scroll to the bottom and svae the changes.

On Mac the backup file is in the same folder as the SKP, with the same name, but with ~ at the end. For example, if you are working on MyModel.skp, in the same folder will be MyModel~.skp.

There are 7 objects a long way from the origin. I tried deleting those in the hope of then seeing the remainder, but that didn’t work out.
One thing you can try, open your model, and click-drag around the origin. Look at Entity Info, and it should show 1241 Entities. Choose Edit/Copy, then in a New document choose Edit/Paste in Place. That should give you the 1241 entities in a new file.
It looks like you’ve got at least a few objects at a long distance from the origin and the rest of the model. I’m copying over the objects to a new file a few at a time to see if I can determine what is causing the problem. So far I’ve found one group that is set off from the rest of the model. More to come ASAP.
I copied all of the objects in the model over to a new file omitting the distant entity(ies). I also fixed incorrect tag usage.
By the way, it looks like you have set up your model to show five different design options. With proper tag and scene usage you could do this with a single set of walls.
wouah, incredible! How did you get that? I imported a dwg ( red shelve). Is it the problem?
the dwg came from the maker so I trusted it
