My daughter deleted all my projects and i recovered them and now it sayis "this does not appear to be a Sketchup model"

Hi , i had an ruff day , my daughter deleted all my projectes , i tried and i think succesfuly recovered them and now i cant open them this does not appear to be a sketchup mode, can you please help me somehow to open them or fix them , i have alot of work done there and i cannot start it all over again.. i will upload 2 of them but i have alot of…

theres nothing i can do to fix them somehow , is there a solutions ? … i used R-studio to recover them or idk maybe other apps to try and recover them ? my daughter i dont how she did it but she shift-deleted them instantly…

No. Unfortunately there’s no way to turn files full of zeroes into useful data.

Recovery apps almost never correctly recover the data for SketchUp files. If the files are in the Recycle Bin you could just undelete them.

Going forward you should get a current subscription to SketchUp and then save your files both to your internal drive as well as to Trimble Connect. It’s unlikely that your daughter would delete the files from both locations.
