Model Blacks out

On 2024 version for Mac. I model cabinets for my business & it seems as the file gets large (only about 4-6 cabinets with dimensions, no colors) I experience the model/cabinet appears in all black, not allowing me to see what Im drawing. If I save, close, re-open it comes back to normal but doesn’t take long to black out again.

Any Ideas??

New or old graphics engine?
What operating system version - Sonoma, Sequoia?
What hardware are you using?

I wonder if it has something to do with the model being placed at a distance from the origin. You might trying moving it closer to the origin.

Is there a reason you aren’t using groups and components in your model? Everything is just loose geometry.

Turn off the new graphics engine. If you aren’t on an M series Mac I don’t think the older machines can use it, and if they do they glitch / cause issues (my 2019 iMac on Sonoma had trouble).

Then maybe move things closer to the origin as Dave suggests.
And learn about groups / components.

Wow, never thought of that,

Thanks for the tip, I’ll try it!

Yea, My MacBook is 2014… pretty dang old!
