Mitres not showing

Hi All,
When using Follow Me to extrude a picture frame around a rectangle, the miters are inconsistently showing up. Dunno if this is a graphics card issue? NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M on 64 bit Windows 8.1 with 16gig RAM.

Thanks in advance!

There’s a flaw in the setup of your follow me function. The follow me should not leave any miters.
Zoom in close and you can see this.

Thanks Shep. Didn’t catch that error. However, the second miter shows no surface mismatch. Any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong?

Perhaps try starting from a midpoint along the path instead of a corner.

I’m surprised it drew any. That’s a continuous coplanar surface and Follow Me typically (in my experience) omits them. It’s okay to draw in the 45 degree lines.

Try using a profile without a horizontal flat and you’ll see the mitre lines.

Here it is with some rounds. Seems to support Gully’s point about the non-horizontal flat sections getting a line…

And here it is without the surfaces. The wire frames show that the horizontal flat areas are excluded. Thanks guys for the help.
