Materials / Colors palette will not dock to other palettes

I am working with Sketchup Pro 2018, Mac version

I want to dock my Materials / Colors palette to other palettes on the desktop (Entity Info, Layers, Scenes, etc.)

The other palettes dock together fine, but the Materials / Colors palette will not dock so that it compresses with the other palettes and expands / contracts in synch with the other palettes.

Has anyone seen this behavior or have suggestions? Thanks.

Yes, we all have seen it. The Material palette is part of the Native Color Panel of the Mac’s OS, therefore, not dockable to the SketchUp panels…

Thanks, Mike. I will just use hotkeys to toggle Materials in and out of the workspace then.
