Massive Shadow after Twilight Render

Hi Everyone here,
I am new with SketchUp. I am using Twilight Render as well.
There was always a massive shadow after rendering, no matter what directions I placed the model. Can somebody help me to resolve this for me. I am under time constraint to get the project completed.
Thank you in advance.

Show a screen shot of the model directly in SketchUp with the face style set to Monochrome. Or share the .skp file.

Hi Dave,
Thank you for responding.

Your model is below the ground plane. Move it up.

I did. What is next? There is still a massive shadow appearing after rendering.

Thanks.

Upload the SketchUp model file so we can take a look at it.

One problem I can see with your model from the screen shot is a bunch of reversed faces.

Do you get the same results with this file?

I ran a very quick, low quality render in Kerkythea and see no shadows like yours.

I did fix the incorrect tag usage…

…and purged unused stuff from the model.

I did not fix any of the reversed faces in the model, though.

Check your lights!

The lights in the scene are the problem, if you close the layer/tag, the rendering appears ok. I created a few new ones and the rendering is also ok.

No problem in V-Ray either

Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for your time and effort.
Anssi. It looks nice.
I do not have time to fix mine. The problem is still the same. It really drives me up the wall.
Anyhow, I will submit it as what I have as it is (no render).
Again, Thank you all.

I think @mihai.s has nailed it: Just close the “TWL_Light_Layer” tag and re-render.

I did it. I was a bit slow. Probably very slow. Ha Ha.
Thank you so much.
