Hi, I am working with the Marvin window components from 3D warehouse but they do not have the cut opening option activated. I tried to edit the component but it does not have the option to activate the cutting opening option… (maybe because it is a dynamic component?!?.. which is why I like using them… Any thoughts how I could edit this to make it work? Thank you

How are you going about inserting it? Are you adding it on an ungrouped face or within a group containg the face? It’ll only cut a hole in one face so if you wall has no thickness, it won’t cut all the way to the other side.
Ah, thank you. I had it placed on a 6.5" wall that was a group. Is there a way to make it punch a hole all the way through?
In order for the component to cut the opening you have to put it on the face, not the group containing the face.
There are some extensions that can add a second cutting location. Check out Double-Cut in the Extension Warehouse.
