Managing Markups

Something markup related, though is its own feature request. Would it be possible for markup scenes not to be included in the animation by default? Or, reveal the markup after the animation ends.

@colin yeah, maybe. For that to work, we’d probably want to apply the same logic to the way that scene transitions affect the visibility of any watermarks, and make it a property that we can set for Markups.

I do think that my suggestion about showing markup after the animation ends may be tricky to do. And, manually turning off the animation isn’t that hard. Many people won’t do that, and so will have the strange transition where the markup isn’t aligned to the geometry for a couple of seconds.

Maybe fading markups in and out would help

Can we have the size of the created projected markup material to be the size of the face independently of the setting for surfaces in the model settings?
I prefer m2 for square footage, but then my projected material is way to small.

That would be great and makes total sense. If we export the texture of the image to a program like procreate, concepts, morpholio trace or affinity photo to further edit it, then we could have it inserted at the right scale.
