FredoSpline is an excellent choice. Another option would be to use the existing ellipses as reference and redraw then with more segments as I’ve done on the right. I started with a 96-sided circle for each one in this case.
You would only be able to change the number of sides natively if they were circles.
Don’t forget to fix the incorrect tag usage in your model. I did it here.

Yet another way to do this … scale SketchUp circles.
Draw a circle … set the number of segments appropriately … these each have 360.
Then scale the circle … once to set the width to match that of the original ellipse … and then scale the new ellipse … setting the length to match the original ellipse.

FWIW, I drew circles for each one with their diameters matching the minor dimension of the ellipse and then I only needed to scale in one direction for the major dimension.
