Hello. I am new to Sketchup. I created an arch shape in Sketchup for a circular driveway and I can’t add color to it or calculate area the area within the shape. It is scaled and grouped. It is probably some simple fix.

Thank you. I removed the other groups, I created them while trying to get that to work.
I still cannot add color to the shape or calculate the area.
Looks like there’s no face to apply color to or to measure for area.
Again, share the actual .skp file so we can help you get it sorted. Otherwise we can only guess at what you’ve done.

Like Box pointed it, your arched driveway is nested 6 levels deep, namely a groupe in a group, in a group, … etc.
A long series of double click allow you to get to it or using the Outliner is much faster.
Once in the group, you simply have to redraw any edge on the perimeter of this face to close it, colour it and get its area.
