I’m designing my own future home in SketchUp and I’m looking for some help creating a custom staircase from scratch.
I’m aiming for a classic, high-end staircase similar to the reference images I’ve attached. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to recreate the elegant curves and proportions myself.
I’m looking for someone who would be willing to model the staircase from scratch, including:
- Smooth, realistic winder steps
- A continuous curved handrail with soft transitions (no sharp 90° corners)
- Traditional newel posts and balusters
- Elegant stringers and trim
- Realistic dimensions that could actually be built
The staircase should also have:
- Comfortable step height and tread depth
- Correct headroom (there will be a door underneath the staircase)
- Proper handrail height
- A realistic overall construction
