Locked out of SKU Pro 2026 due to Passkey disfunction

Been trying to sign in today to 2026. Not sure what the problem is here.

I’m on a M1 MacBook Pro. I use Safari and have LastPass for logins.

When I sign in it asks for email and passwords as usual. LastPass autofills.

After those two are confirmed it asks for a passkey. This causes a pop-up for sign in. Normal behavior.

I have a MacBook with fingerprint scanner so that is my passkey.

I perform that function and the fingerprint icon fills in red, also as normal.

However, the fingerprint never completes and the ring around the fingerprint goes into processing mode. What’s more is the popup is frozen and so is Safari. It never clears out.

If I use command/tab and move to another window that resets the popup and it shows as waiting for the fingerprint. The popup is locked and so is Safari.

The crazy thing is I can’t close the popup, tab or window and I can’t even close Safari. I can’t use “quit” either. I have to go to Apple/Force Quit and shut Safari down that way.

Im currently only logged into SKU Pro 2025.
I also have versions 2022, 2024 and an early beta of 2026 from SketchUp Labs.

I use my passkey for other sites all day with no problem both in Safari and in Brave and Chrome.

As of now, Im currently locked out of 2026.
