I agree with @Box. I think it would be a good thing to show setting the insertion point on a component so it can be easily installed.

It may help to manipulate the imported image before starting to model the parts, to get it close to actual model size.
Import image > scale lengthwise to correct size (I finally used 90mm = 900mm)
Then scaled vertical with factor 1.225 to help both:
a) drawing (in X-ray) on the image and
b) modeling on the isometric plane (as a comparison).
One can always just use the mesurements straight from the drawing but it lacks some crusial information, leaving some room for “interpretation”.

@DaveR, Betcha can’t bring that into Layout and make it look just like the original drawing!
