yep, it’s a known bug in the last version of 24 for mac.

I haven’t been able to find a bug report about this, but the problem seems not to happen in later internal versions. Which suggests the problem was fixed at some point. When it does start to happen you can make a new scene and then delete that new scene, and the list or thumbnails draw ok after that.
