yep, same here. in all mode, list, small, big…
I also have the exact grey out/all selected in my scene window issue. Also, Layout no exporting one of my layers.
Any response from Trimble to this issue? @colin
I haven’t been able to find a bug report about this, but the problem seems not to happen in later internal versions. Which suggests the problem was fixed at some point.
When it does start to happen you can make a new scene and then delete that new scene, and the list or thumbnails draw ok after that.
Thanks for the info. If you think that might solve it I will try again when I have time; I’m under a bit of pressure with work, which is why I immediately rolled back as I couldn’t see my list of approximately 150 scenes.
Yes me too
Are there other bugs in this issue?
FIX IT UP PLEASE
Is it a Mac issue with new operating system?
@colin I’m not sure if you are aware of this bug as well but if enable experimental graphics is checked off in Layout the page left and right arrows as well as the edit button disappears on mac
also, with enable experimental graphics engine turned on, picking items in scrapbooks picks the item below what you are trying to pick
+1 for this issue.
The workaround suggested is temporary and does not allow me to shift-select multiple scenes for a bulk update.
@colin do you have a workaround to allow shift-select? I’ve got a live training on Monday + Tuesday, and our class has updated to the newest version.
We tracked down when the fix was done, and it appears to have been too late to get added to the last update. It’s being treated as a high priority to get into the next update, but I can’t say when that will be.
Thanks for the update @Colin, but it isn’t the answer I was expecting. I’ve been down this road with Graphisoft’s Archicad where parts of the interface were unreadable so you can’t update as the program is fundamentally crippled and delivery of the next update is open ended. I see version 595 is still available. I wonder how many people this is affecting… This kind of thing knocks confidence in updating. It could even be a customer’s first download and attempt at using SU which may stop them investing…
Having the same issue on my machine too. This is a real problem when you have a lot of scenes. I hope a fix comes ASAP.
Is this a Sonoma thing? I’m on Ventura and 24.0.554 and I don’t think I’ve seen this.
I’m on Sonoma (14.6) on an Intel iMac late 2019. I found 24.0.554 is ok apart from some minor instabilities with the “experimental” graphics engine, the problem for me was the broken scene display in the 595 update.
I think I’ll just stick with what I’ve got for now until I hear otherwise.
If you use the Check for Update option in SketchUp, or go to the downloads page, there is an update that fixes this issue.
Thanks @colin! I just updated to Version 24.0.598 and can confirm it is fixed on a mac running Sonoma 14.6.1
