List of COVID-19 Resources

Dear SketchUp Community -

We are calling on you, our amazing makers and craftspeople, to put your skills and passions to use in this difficult time. We have compiled a list of resources to help you connect with organizations that need your skills, and we are committed to updating it as information changes. The maker movement is mobilizing fast — and helping so much already, that — we figured the best way to help is to provide resources so people can hit the ground running.

We’ve organized a 3D Warehouse collection full of COVID-19 files to help with 3D printing, transforming a bedroom into a class, and so much more. Explore our models and put them to use.

Here’s a list of more resources to get you started:

If you have any other resources you’d like people to know about, list them here. And thank you for the contributions you’re making to your communities - and the greater good.

Here’s what’s happening at my local maker space:

Dear community,

There is a document with an open source ventilator specifications posted by Julian Julian Botta, Johns Hopkins Emergency Medicine Resident PGY-3 (Twitter: @julianbotta)

If someone from the community could translate this document into sketches or blue prints for printable parts I offer my skills and expertise for the 3D visualization process for free .

Also here are links showing some other initiatives in Beligium and abroad.

I sincerely hope this helps,

Could this thread be “pinned” to always show for a while?

Absolutely. it should be up there for the next 1-2 months, or until things return to “normal”

I have experience creating 3d drawings and am willing to help in any way possible

I model items for 3D printing and I’m an industrial designer/ architect. Let me know how I can help.

I recommend finding a local group so you can help with what they need locally

construction of an emergency ventilator mask, realized by adjusting a snorkeling mask already available on the market

After tackling the sourcing of 3D models successfully thanks to all of you we are off to the next challenge: Help us find creative ways to safe-proof our workplace by submitting ideas to our COVID-19 Workplace Re-Design Challenge by 2020-05-13T15:00:00Z.
