Light yellow tint on background of plan view copied and pasted from sketch up into layout

I am using top view and wireframe to import a black and white plan into layout.

When I save, copy and paste when it goes int Layout it has a light yellow background.

How do I get rid of?

Very frustrating

Also, when working with top view, is there any way to lock onto top view so image won’t move into any other dimension?

You can make a scene of your top view in SUp then you will call it in Lay Out. Cf Sketchup videos about Lay Ou.
