Layout Pages have same SKUP Scene despite linking to different scenes

I have created pages for Elevations B and Elevation D and linked them to the relevant scenes in SKUP. However when I change the viewport to get the right scene into the right page - it changes the viewport on all the other pages, so that I have the same viewport on both the Elevation B page and the Elevation D page. (when I set up the layout pages I created duplications of the first page and changed the viewports afterwards)
I updated the SKUP scene and saved the file for each scene.

You’ve made the Default layer shared so the exact same thing shows on every page. If you change the scene on one page the change will show on every page that contains the viewport. That’s normal operation for the way you’ve set the layer.

The correct process would be to leave the layer not shared. Then copy the viewport from the first page to the next. Doing that will allow you to change the scene for each viewport without affecting the viewports on the other pages.

For some reason you also changed the On Every Page layer to unshared.

BTW, I would suggest you remove that screenshot since it shows client information.

Hi Dave R,

Thanks for your response to my question, I have made the changes to the sharing and can now operate the pages/viewports independently.

I am nearly finished my design diploma, and sketch up has certainly been a challenge. The forum worked well in this instance, to get a problem solved, so thank you again.

(the example client I used was for an assignment)
