Layout exporting PDF's inaccurately

Hi everyone. I’m having a nightmare with Layout. When I export documents to PDF there are errors all over and it doesn’t reflect what was on my screen at all. Text is in different positions or cut off. Annotation markers have errors. Words are mashed up.

I have spent weeks working on 4 large documents as part of my interior design coursework. Was happy with it and have come to export and I just can’t get an accurate PDF of what I’ve done. I could cry I’m so upset. Wish I’d stuck with Vectorworks.

I did install an update that I was prompted to this morning and now wondering if that has something to do with it. Or Layout is just not accurate enough? I haven’t used it until forming these projects.

Any advice would be massively appreciated!

What version of SketchUp/LayOut are you using? Please complete your profile.

Share a LayOut file and the PDF file you get so we can see the difference and try exporting on our end. That will help us determine where the issue lies.

Hi Dave. Thanks for coming back to me. Do you have an email address I could send the files across to? I’m using SketchUp Pro 2021.

If you don’t want to make the file public, click on my name and then ‘Message’. If the LO file is large you’ll have to upload it to DropBox or Google Drive and share the link.
