Please help. Layout is crashing at startup. I’ve tried to repair the sketchup installation, reinstalled the sketchup app, updated video driver, and deleted the .plo and .json files in the Layout folder . No bug splat, just closes.
Any ideas?
Is this with all files or just one file?
I can’t get to a point where the file opens. Welcome screen appears, locks up and then crashes before I can choose a file.
Are you able to share the problem file?
Have you tried to start a new file?
Or can you open an existing LayOut file from Windows Explorer?
I don’t know exactly what I did, but I managed to get it working again. I’m guessing the reinstall eventually worked, but not at first. 
I am having the exact same problem- i cant even create a new document, nevermind link a skp file. Please help
