Laser Cutters in K-12

Hello SketchUp for Schools community,

I’d like to understand how prevalent laser cutting is in K-12 schools. Can any educators speak about your use of and/or access to laser cutting technology at your school?

Not technically an educator here, but rather education IT.
We run Career and Technical Education programs and I believe at least one of our programs does have a laser cutter along with other equipment. Our CTE programs are also transitioning to Chromebooks (last year one teacher suggested loading Ubuntu on their classes Chromebooks so they could use Sketchup) so SketchUp for Schools should really help them out.
