What is your industry and profession?
Sorry, no picture that I am willing to post.
I am a middle school, I teach computer apps and robotics.
I am also licensed as an Industrial Arts teacher. This leads to my problem, our schools Industrial Arts teacher has been gone most of the year; so it is falling to me to make lessons for the subs in his classes. To add to that, most of the subs are not certified for Industrial Arts;so they can’t take the students into the shop. For me to run over means that I have to find a sub for my class.
As you can guess, I am looking for something interesting that can be done outside of the shop (I realize this isn’t ideal).
Why do you use SketchUp and what is your favorite thing about it? (Besides using it to impress the babes/bros…)
How proficient are you in SketchUp? Beginner, intermediate, advanced?
I am not too proficient, I have used it for a few minor projects. As an example, I needed a specific table for my Robotics team., I used it to create a mock-up and parts list. then I took my Robotics club to the shop and we built it.
Have you gone to a SketchUp 3DBasecamp?
