Landscape with Sat-Image, Buildings etc. possible inside SketchUp (not made in Render-Software)?

Hello Forum,

please take a look at the two Images. One shows a final Render. The Building is all made in SketchUp (and rendered with Lumion), but the Landscape outside is made with Lumion. The Second Image shows only a Landscape (environment for my actuall project) generated in Lumion.

Is is possible to get this inside of SketchUp (Sat-Image, Heighmap, Streets, Buildings)? When yes, with what extensions?

Thanks a lot Paul! This is awesome. Didn´t work a while with SketchUp and therefore didn´t know about this great Feature!

SketchUp’s native Geolocation is much improved lately, but there is also the Placemaker extension that’s been around for a while. It’s not free, however, but not all that expensive either. It is also multi-platform now in so far as they also have a Revit version, but not ArchiCAD or others.

Thanks Robert! I already had PlaceMaker in my mind, but I think “Add Location” will do the Job perfectly for my Project!
