That hat was in fact mine.
Which I lost on a train from Standsted to London. (I also lost my second brown bowler on the London Underground… 
London hasn’t been nice to my hats…)
Background story about the bowler hats: At the 2012 Basecamp where seemingly everyone ended up using my (other brown) hat:
It spread to people’s user profile pictures over at SketchUcation eventually.

I’m thinking, Thomas, you need a bowler with a chain on it so you don’t lose it. Or maybe just a chin strap would do.
Yes! I now have my third bowler hat! Don’t want to loose that too! (I really miss the brown hat… Makes me sad every time I recall it.)
Errh… well, that’s probably a practical precaution… Though I’m not convinced about its charm…
A lot of memories associated with that brown hat.
Maybe you would make a bold fashion statement with a chin strap on your bowler. In 9 months it would be all the rage.

Trying to find the SketchUcation thread where everyone added hats to their profile. Though search isn’t helpful.
Finding a number of profiles still with the hat though…
