I’m going crazy. I know this is something logical but I can’t figure it out. Sometimes when I apply paint to a surface, it only partially accepts it and you can see different parts of it from different angles. Like this
Similarly when I am looking at a front view, some of the lines disappear.
Please help me…someone…anyone…

Apparently, what you’re experiencing is called Z-Fighting. That basically means there are overlapping surfaces with no thickness and SketchUp doesn’t know which one to show, so it shows both and you get that flickering effect.
I see you’re drawing “flat” furnitures and apparently, added a separately grouped window-glass to the cabinet. In this case, to avoid the Z-fighting, I’d explode the glass or only apply the material to one face of the flat furniture.
