Issue with solids

I am having trouble getting any of the Solids tools to work. Even when experimenting with two simple cubes, I get this message: One or more of the selected objects is either not a solid or is locked. The non-solid/locked objects will be de-selected before this operation is performed.

When I look at Entity Info, both items show that they are unlocked.

Appreciate any help!

How about uploading the .skp file so we can see what you are looking at?

Are the cubes components or groups? When you select them, do they show as solid groups or solid components in Entity Info?

Thanks for the quick reply. One of my objects was not a group or a solid. All set.
