Hello,
There is a bug in a new version,
relinking xlsx reference is not working correctly - instead of keeping the same cell range as the original file. it’s bring the all sheet.
in my case i have multiple cells in my layout files..
each cell turns in to a sheet.. which makes Layout to crash..
what to do?

I’m not able to duplicate what you describe. Can you share example files that exhibit this behavior?
I will try to explain with a simple example..
a Layout file with tables linked to a excel file:
one table is linked to rage A1:B5
the second table linked to a rage D1:E5
now i want to relink the Excel reference from one excel file to another.
Excel A
Excel B:
Relinking the the To “Excel B” is not keeping the same rage - it brings all in.
so instead of keeping the same rage, the result is:
it’s a simple example..
my original project files linked to complex excel files.. so “bringing all in” crashes the program.
i hope it’s clearer now.

Are you getting the window that allows you to select the sheet and range of cells you want to use?
Yes.
but each table has it’s own range.

And you can pick the range you need when you select the new spreadsheet.
I tested this in LayOut 2026 and the behavior is the same.
Editing the range has not sense.
Because I can have 10 different tables with 10 different ranges linked to the same sheet at the same file (Excel_A)..
at the previous versions i could just relink to (Excel_B) all the ranges would kept, and the data would be updated.

Again, I’m not seeing anything different in LayOut 2026.
