There’s really a lot to even what seem to be the simplest UI/UX design choices. Just to reiterate, I don’t think Trays/Panels (as they work now) can solve all of the Enter problems (because where does focus go?). The single press G, Create Component, prompt locks the user out of model space interaction, which can be alright but lacks interactivity that users might be engaging in if they’re working in Entity Info or Outliner, making sure their groups and components are named. So, the html dialog with name and close (expected behavior) options but also the option to keep open, and especially repeated presses of the assigned shortcut key is the way to go… or one way… I’d be very interested in your opinions if you take them for a spin.
