I create a guide line with the tape measure. I want to resize a component using push/pull to pull an object’s face to the guide line. Is there a way to “snap” the push/pull to the guide line?
Yes. I do that frequently.

Start the push/pull operation, move the cursor onto the guideline and click.
Sounds easy enough. However, I have not been successful in achieving accuracy in doing that. Does SU inference engine indicate when one is directly over the guide line?
Yes it does.
Maybe you can share your SKP file so I can see the set up and exactly what you are trying to do.
