I am an occasional Sketchup user, usually only a few times per year, mostly for small projects around my property. I’ve been using Sketchup Make, but am interested in purchasing a Pro license. My question… if we don’t renew each year does the software stop working until we renew. I don’t need to continually update the feature set, it’s a hobby for me, therefore upgrading every few years would work well. I don’t want to be forced to subscribe every year. Also, I’m not interested in the free online version. Thank you.
The license for the Pro version is a subscription so yes, you pay an annual fee to continue using it. If you decide to discontinue the subscription you won’t be able to run SketchUp Pro.
