iPad Shadows with New Graphics Engine

Just ran into this today - maybe other’s have already seen this? What’s up with shadows on iPad and New Graphics Engine?

Here is the same file and the same scene first in Pro for MacOS…

Does the iPad have the Fast Shadows option that you can turn off?

Good question, but I think not. You can’t on MacOS either without resorting to @colin 's preference editing trick AFAIK, and I don’t think I’ve done that on mine. You would think that my M1 Max Macbook Pro and M4 iPad Pro would be drawing are largely the same graphic engine, but I don’t really know.
