For much of my work I 3D print objects that intersect with one another, usually cylinders.
Usually I can get away with it if the cylinders intersect with flat surfaces, but if I try to do it with another round surface I get all kinds of tearing and missing pieces that are virtually impossible to fix by hand.
Is there an addon I can get to do this more effectively?
Is there something I’m doing wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
SketchUp’s core code can’t cope with tiny geometry < 1/1000"
To sidestep this you should use ‘The Dave Method’…

My god,
it’s so simple.
I kind of hate it.
Thank you.
