Internal lines seem to have disappeared

Hello, in one of my files I had some windows drawn like this:

I then coped them to another file and after making some edits the windows are missing internal lines, and I actually can’t draw any shapes within the bedroom because they also disappear.
However, I can see the lines if I select them…

This also happened with a closet but I was able to redraw those for some reason

Thanks in advance

edit 1: had to remove screenshots because too many attachments
edit 2: added images to imgur album

What are you exactly trying to do, your model has some groups that are just lines, and some components that are the 2D representation of a door. Before advancing with this project, I recommend to visit the sketchup campus website and learn the basics of the software, there isn´t a bed on the bedroom but I guess that it was downloaded from the 3DWH, You should never download models directly into your model, some models are corrupted and overkill in 99% of the cases, it´s better to download into an empty file and check if the model is good enough and make some cleanup, like deleting objects that are not going to be seen and unwanted tags.

You have picked a style with the edges off and profiles on, so you only see outer edges. Change the style to one that shows edges.

thanks!

It would be a good idea to clean up your model a bit. You have some labels located at a huge distance from your model. They don’t actually seem to be connected to anything and should be deleted. This is the result of using Zoom Extents.

thanks for the tip! I’ll take a look

I’m making a floor plan diagram to submit to my county for a building permit. Thanks for the tip about importing models, will def keep that in mind
