Ive tried to install SketchUp several times on my Mac but it keeps saying in the download area below “This type of file can harm your computer. Do you want to keep sketchUpMake-… dmg anyway”
If you’re running el cap successfully it’ll probably do fine with skup. The message you are seeing sounds like a stock system or perhaps thirdparty security message in reaction to downloading a disk image.
any file can harm your computer if that is their intention…
if you downloaded from the official site just say yes…
it runs on my 2007 iMac fine…
