I do have windows 7. I have restarted my computer too. It still won’t download. I also looked into ,See the setup log file located at ‘C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\VSDCFEB.tmp\install.log’ for more information.
But it says I have windows 6. What do I do? I really do have windows 7!

Apart from that I would make sure that you have Service Pack 1 (for Windows 7) installed.
the version numer of Windows 7 is “6.1”, don’t bother but check what’s running by pressing the short-cut “Win+Pause”.

Product Name = version number
Windows Vista = v 6.0
Windows 7 = v 6.1
Windows 8 = v 6.2
Windows 8.1 = v 6.3
You can easily see your version number by using the ver command at a command prompt.
