I received the laz files from the site you indicated and tested the import of the terrain geometry via CloudCompare. selecting an area and downloading a Point Cloud [img-02] [img-03] opening laz files received in CloudCompare [img-05] merge multiple clouds (icon) [img-05b] Edit > Normals > Compute [img-06] [img-06b] Plugin > PoissonRecon [img-08] File > Save > OBJ mesh SketchUp import OBJ (via Skimp).
