Hey. So I have purchased some models online for a client in order to create some scenes for them, however the models are object files. I have used a paid object converter before but is there another way to import object files into sketchup. (I have downloaded the TT Lib 22 extension and installed as well but that doesn’t seem to work either)
Do you mean .obj files? If so, just go File>Import, and navigate to the OBJ file.
I have tried this but i do not have the option to import OBJ files.

As you can see the object file is not possible to import…
TT_LIb itself is not a “real” extension, it is a requirements for other extension created by Thomas.
I guess you have to download:
QuadFace Tools | SketchUp Extension Warehouse
or:
SketchUp Plugins | PluginStore | SketchUcation
where the OBJ Importer is included.
Nice, after downloading the quadface tool i can now import OBJ files. Thanks for the help.
I downloaded all 3 of these and still can’t figure out how to import .obj. Trying to import models made in canvas.io. Any ideas?
Your profile says you are using SketchUp for Schools. That is a web-based version for young school children and has no facility for using extensions.
