It would be nice to have the ability to add Nearmap imagery in a shape other than a north - south or east-west oriented rectangle.
For instance, I need to import imagery for a 34 acre site for a suburban apartment complex. The site is relatively linear, running between an interstate and railroad track, and runs in essentially a southwest to northeast orientation. When I try to import geolocation imagery, I’d guess that more than half the imagery is outside of the site.
Not a big deal if the imagery is free, but if I’m paying for the higher quality image, it would be great to have more efficiency in what I am purchasing.
Also, I have had instances in which I have purchased Nearmap imagery for a site and needed to add more imagery due to the site growing or needing some more context, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that without re-purchasing the whole thing due to the minimum tile requirements.
