Importing .dwg files

Hello,
I know that you’re not supposed to be able to import .dwg files into SU Make - is there an extension that allows you to do this?
I imagine not, but just in case…

Nope. You need SketchUp Pro or Shop to import .dwg files.

It’s a proprietary file type and requires a licensed importer.

There are still plugins around to import the DXF format that is the Ascii version of DWG. Here is the first one I found:

You can use the free DWG TrueView application from Autodesk to convert a DWG file into DXF.
