The source dwg is definitely not in feet! I tried that for jollies, and the front of the house comes in as almost 580 feet long! I suspect it was cm.
That’s biggggg. I’ll try again and make sure it’s feet.
SketchUp won’t even open now. I double-clicked on it, and got no drawing page.
Never mind.
Clicked Import. Selected the drawing I sent you. Made sure it was Feet. Hit Import. Nothing happened. It was not importing it, just churning.
This is what happened while dragging
That is strange. I am drawing it from a dimensioned plan, and it isn’t anywhere near that small. I am using AutoCad LT 2013. Would that make any difference?
You have to change your units in AutoCAD to “Architectural” otherwise it will import to a smaller scale.
EDIT: I just looked at your dwg and the units are currently in decimal.
Here is the plan. I verified that the units were architectural.
SketchUp Plan.dwg (97.0 KB)
I just tried importing it again, and it worked this time. Maybe I did have the plan in decimal. I knew I changed it somewhere in the process. Thanks for your assistance.
