Import Project into another Project

Hey,

I work in an architecture firm and work with SketchUp a lot. And here is my problem: If the architects in my firm change something in another project I want to import it in to my project. But not just Ctrl C + Ctrl V, I want it to be on the same location as it is in the other project, so that I don´t have to move it to the right place or rotate it.

Im looking forward to read your answers.

Copy the object in one file, then “paste in place” in the other. It’s next to paste in the menu, it pastes in the same location relative to the origin.

Copy from origin file with CTRL-C (Windows) or CMD-C (Mac).

Go in destination file and use Edit Menu → Paste in place.

Riley beat me by 1 minute.
