I have a Sketchup Pro and a RevoPoint 3D scanner. How can I import 3D scans into sketchup?? I tried installing am extension to import a obj file, but it doesn’t work.
Is there a third party app for this?

Do you have an OBJ file created from your 3D scanner? What error occurred?
The webpage for the scanners proudly sports a SketchUp (older version, red) logo so check the available file formats supported by the device and application. If the scanned objects have very tiny faces, it might be a good idea to use a large import unit when importing the model files into SketchUp.
Another option might be to import the raw point cloud data in a compatible format by using a plugin like Scan Essentials or Undet, and to build the actual 3D model in SketchUp.
