(I'm an extreme newbie)

Okay, I’m attempting to use Sketchup for a school project. I’ve created a sphere and cut a quadrant out of it and have drawn some shapes/sections on the interior of the sphere, yet when I go to colour these sections it colours the whole face. Help?

Select All > Right context click on the selection > Intersect Faces > With Selection


The half circles do not sit directly on the cut sphere. Try using the Offset tool to to create concentric, reduced copies of the outer circle.
