(I'm an extreme newbie)

Okay, I’m attempting to use Sketchup for a school project. I’ve created a sphere and cut a quadrant out of it and have drawn some shapes/sections on the interior of the sphere, yet when I go to colour these sections it colours the whole face. Help?

Attach the model file to your reply so we can see the problem.

Select All > Right context click on the selection > Intersect Faces > With Selection

The half circles do not sit directly on the cut sphere. Try using the Offset tool to to create concentric, reduced copies of the outer circle.

Thank you guys ever so much, what an extremely helpful community!
