I'm a client having problems viewing files shared by architect

Hello,

I’m a client using SketchUp Viewer for Android, to view files shared with me by an architect.

Recently I cannot open new files sent to me. I get an Error message - “this file cannot be opened“. I can still view the previously shared files in SketchUp viewer for Android.

The architect cannot help/doesn’t know why this is happening.

Because SketchUp Viewer for Android is no longer supportd by Trimble, I decided to purchase access via a monthly subscription to SketchUp Go.

I still cannot access Go after purchasing 2 days ago. Here is my order number: 011225085759-8F85

You could’ve opened the file on the free web version of sketchup, sketchup GO is also web based and includes sketchup for iPad but as a client you don’t need the extra modeling features of sketchup GO.

Go to the sketchup website Free 3D Modeling Software | 3D Design Online | SketchUp Free Subscription | SketchUp

click on start modeling, sign in with the mail you used to buy sketchup GO, and import the file sent by your architect.
