I want to add another shortcut to "move" in LayOut

I want to add another shortcut to “move” in LayOut, its that possible in some way?

As u know the shortcut for “move” is “M” right now, but i also want to add “N” as a shortcut. Meaning both “M” and “N” is a shortcut for “move.

It was possible for me to do it in SketchUp, but in LayOut “N” just replaces “M".

The reason i want both is i always hit one of those when i want to use the move tool quickly lol, my life is easier when both of the keys is the move tool.

I don’t think it’s possible on layout 2025 so a solution would be take your time to look and press the right key until you develop a muscle memory, you’ll have to delete the N key as move shortcut from sketchup as well so your brains gets used to it faster. If you use sketchup and layout on a daily basis for some hours, in few days you’ll have complete control over the keys you press.

If you don’t want to do that or can’t do that because of big fingers, you could get a mouse with more buttons and assign one of those extra buttons to the move shortcut, so you won’t have to press the keyboard. A stream deck is also very useful, it has no buttons and you can assign your most used shortcuts to it.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I never got used to using buttons on a mouse, but thats a really good idea. I have 3 buttons i use for nothing right now.

I did not have a problem with this M key untill i got a new keyboard, which is better, but its a bit more compact and i keep hitting N instead of M.
