I use Sketchup to 3D print Architectural work witch originates from Archicad, Revit, ect. And every single time I open a file I need to change the Units back to decimal. Why can sketch up not just automatically do it. It’s not the end of the world but it is a very annoying thing to spend 30 second changing the units every single time.
Why don’t you just create your own template with the units set the way you want and use it as your default when you start a new model?
The units you are seeing were set for the template you are choosing to open when you start. If you make your own template with the units set to Decimal and use it all the time you’ll never have to stop and change them each time you begin a new project in
