Which is the best set of tutorials from A-Z. I’m jumping all over the place like a jumping bean and it’s hard to learn this way. So, which tutorials (as a package) would be good for me.
It’s better I learn than drive ya’ll nuts with my questions.

Well, there isn’t much to your model. Certainly nothing that should make it behave strangely. You really do need to learn about using groups and components. All this loose geometry won’t help. Door swings should be components separate from the floor plan. If I were going to create this as a model I would first draw the perimeter and give it some thickness to create the floor. That geometry would be grouped. Then I would add the walls on top of it.
Save labels for LayOut. Certainly at this stage…
To help achieve your goals, some time spent at the
SketchUp Campus and at the SketchUp - YouTube channel will be very worthwhile. Both sites are from the SketchUp team. On the YouTube channel, pay attention to the Square One Series. It covers the basics for each tool.
