Please stop reminding me that there is an update to some new AI Nano thing or whatever it is.
Or please tell me where the toggle is to turn of this notification!

I’m pretty sure paul is talking about the “new stuff” announced inside sketchup.
because on the forum, it’s very simple to mute a thread.
This is driving me insane at the mo, I’m working on a 1x1km site to a deadline and using Enscape to render … everything is working peachy BUT just to be safe I’m saving very regularly and periodically closing/reopening SU.
THIS ■■■■ AI RENDER DIALOG IS POPING UP EVERY TIME I OPEN SU!!
Hey SketchUp Team, you want me to NEVER use you AI renderer? Well you’re doing a good job then
I was just editing my model and the notification just popped up interrupting my flow
F#$%&!
Have no interest in AI Render and haven’t even opened the interface but when that window appeared I chose to update the extension and then it quit showing up.
Maybe disabling the extension in Extension Manager so it doesn’t load would make it stop checking for updates and announcing them.
Can confirm I’m encountering this too, and it’s annoying.
It doesn’t even happen immediately on load. I could start working on a model and anywhere between 1-5 minutes it’ll randomly decide to pop up.
Like DaveR below me (or above, we posted at the same time) I updated the extension yesterday, but it still popped up this morning.
Dave – you are the voice of calm and reason!
Thanks. Must be due to being on holiday away from my computer. ![]()
I wonder why we have different experiences with that.
I tried both “Remind me later” and then drilling through “Next” to “Learn More” or the option to close it, regardless of what I choose, I close/re-open sketchup, again within 1-5 minutes it randomly decides to pop up. ![]()
It’s fine so long as I leave Sketchup open for the day, but still kind of an annoying bug.
Did you try the Update button in the pop-up?
No wonder you didn’t see anything.
I hadn’t been seeing it before though.
€n$hitific4tion at its finest.
I have never seen this… (fingers crossed). I’m on Mac, not sure if that makes a difference.
